    About 22 to 24 million voters ages 18 to 29 showed up on November 4 to cast their vote for president, the second largest turnout by young voters in American history.Youth voters largely contributed to Obama’s historic victory, as 66 percent of them supported the Democratic candidate and his message for change. This 66 percent made up the largest group in this age bracket to vote for a single candidate.
