Robotics Program

Learn how to build and program a competitive robot! The Robotics Program includes instruction and materials to build a team robot and compete in one Regional FIRST Robotics Competition in Long Beach held March 12 to March 14, 2009. Students must arrange their own travel to and from the Regional Event.

The Robotics Program is open to students in grades nine through twelve and will meet Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. The program will start on January 5 and will complete on March 20, 2009.

Please note: Students attending the Robotics Program must be picked up promptly at 5:30 pm. Since these programs take place after the completion of the regular school day, bus transportation is not available.

Parents will be billed by The Buckley School Business Office for all program fees.

A student is enrolled in order of receipt of the application. Enrollment is limited. Confirmation of enrollment will be sent via e-mail. If a selection is not available, a student will automatically be placed on a waiting list. In case a vacancy occurs during the session, the waiting list is honored. Classes are subject to cancellation if under enrolled.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Due to the fact that teachers base their curriculum materials upon initial enrollment, there is no refund after the second class meeting. Written notice of cancellation is required and should be directed to . Prorating is not offered for late enrollment.
