The Approval Process

The Campus Enhancement Plan is in the midst of a thorough review by the City of Los Angeles and the community. During the review process, there will be a number of opportunities for participation and involvement, including public hearings and comment periods. The City’s first public hearing on the Plan took place December 13, 2007. The second hearing is anticipated to occur in late May.

Additionally, as part of the review process, a comprehensive Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared. The EIR analyzed numerous areas, including traffic, hydrology, and geology, among many others. It determined that there are no significant, permanent environmental impacts from the project.
