The Big Red

THE BIG RED (Buckley Boosters’ Club) is strongly supported by The Buckley School Parents’ Association. The goal is to support the Middle and Upper School sports teams, boost school spirit, and increase attendance at Buckley athletic events, especially home games.

THE BIG RED hosts special home game booster events throughout the year, featuring food, music, and appearances by our Griffin mascot.

Get THE BIG RED spirit and support our Buckley athletes by bringing your family and friends to our home games. Our athletes devote a lot of time and effort to improve their skills and represent Buckley in competition with other schools, so please come and give them your support.

THE BIG RED is open to everyone. If you have ideas or would like to actively participate in making a sports event special, please contact Jane Galvin, Buckley Boosters’ Club chair.

F.A.N.S.

Founded four years ago by the Social Activities Committee, the FANS Club (Fantastic Athletes Need Support) is a faculty & staff booster club for Buckley Athletics. We try to sponsor at least 1-2 teams and events per sports season by wearing our custom-designed FANS shirts and attending those events in large (FANS) numbers. We want to show outward support for the student athletes by wearing FANS shirts on game days and then showing up to cheer for our teams on those same days.

Faculty & Staff become members of FANS by paying a $15 annual fee which helps pay for their T-shirts and also for the food provided at sponsored events. We work in conjunction with the Varsity Club and the Cheer Club to help create a more lively and supportive fan base for our athletic teams than has existed in years prior to the creation of FANS.
