Campus Information

Founded in 1933 by Dr. Isabelle Buckley, The Buckley School is the oldest co-educational day school in Los Angeles.

Our beautiful 19-acre campus, nestled away in a wooded canyon, is home to 770 students in Kindergarten through grade twelve.

The serenity of being on The Buckley School campus is unparalleled. The most serious distraction a student might face on campus is watching the deer descend the hillside in the search of an afternoon snack.

Students are safe—physically and emotionally—to simply focus on being students. Visitors to our campus are immediately struck by the close-knit nature of the Buckley community, characterized by the warmth, friendliness and enthusiasm of students, faculty and parents.

Yet blended seamlessly into these comforting confines of the Santa Monica Mountains is an exciting educational community with comfortable classrooms, high-speed Internet connections, state-of-the art music, theater, dance and art programs, playing fields, and an indoor pool.
