Building Plans

Phase 1: Academic and Performing Arts Building

The Academic and Performing Arts Building will be located in the center of campus and provide 19,500 square feet of additional space for our deserving students. This magnificent two-story building will house:

  • 14 new classrooms, including performing arts specialty classrooms for dance, choir, drama and orchestra
  • 6th grade classrooms
  • Journalism and publications classroom
  • Student Technology Center
  • The Parents’ Association K-12 faculty center.

There will be no disruption to the school program during construction as no current classrooms will be displaced, and the site will be completely enclosed and fenced off from the rest of campus.  Construction began spring 2011 and the new building will open for the start of the 2012-2013 school year.

Phase 2: The Science and Mathematics Building

Construction of The Science and Mathematics Building will begin in the summer of 2012 and continue through the 2012-2013 school year.  The building will open for the start of the 2013-2014 school year.  Updated science classrooms are one of our greatest needs for the Middle and Upper School and The Science and Mathematics Building will be home to five Upper School science classrooms, with two shared prep areas, a dedicated robotics classroom, a Middle School science classroom and five math and general classrooms.

The first floor includes classrooms for Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physical Science, Science Prep, and Life Science. The second floor will include five more classrooms, an additional classroom for Robotics classes, a seminar room, and a Math Department office.
