Our school doesn’t fit neatly into a single educational category or descriptive phrase. That’s because we are passionate about our educational philosophy, the 4-Fold Plan of Education, which blends elements of tradition and structure with progressive, whole-child approaches and incredible creativity. The school was founded on this philosophy nearly 80 years ago and every year more and more leading educational research supports this approach.

We were thrilled this year when a survey confirmed that our parents feel the 4-Fold Plan truly does shape our school, and when the Class of 2010 Valedictorian included the Plan among the 10 words or sayings he would use to define Buckley.

Well-rounded, engaged, dynamic students are the norm, not the exception at Buckley. This is the result of our educational philosophy and our small size, which affords many more opportunities for participation and leadership roles than is possible at larger schools. Buckley students resist pigeonholing despite their strengths or personal passions.I’m glad you are on our website and I invite you to call us, visit our campus, and meet our students, parents and teachers to learn all that you can about Buckley and our 4-Fold Plan.
